Summary

​

A multinational advertising agency is seeking a honed production executive with extensive experience managing substantial production and post-production resources while collaborating closely with a broad scope of internal and external interests in global and domestic markets. 

​

Compensation & Benefits

​

Duties and Responsibilities

​

  • Manage (10) ten direct reports in New York and Los Angeles consisting of Vice Presidents, Directors, Senior Production & Post leadership, Senior Creative IT Resources and your EA. 

  • Lead the firm's budget and final vendor selections for all internal and external production and post-production services in the United States and when required in Canada, LATAM, EU, ASIA and or the MENA.

  • Assure that the firm is consistently providing visual production, audio, VFX, color, and editing that is cutting edge.

  • Meet regularly with clients on primary accounts to understand their creative vision and offer guidance.

  • Maintain exceptional production standards for some of the world's most noted brands.

  • Produce multi-purpose content for TV, Radio, DOOH, Print, Internet, Social Media & Mobile platforms

  • Work with Automotive, CPG, Luxury, Pharmaceutical, Consumer Electronic, and Telecommunication clients.

  • Produce varied types of standard advertising as well as episodic and resources for consumer-based content.

  • Work closely with Human Resources to promote opportunities, identify talent, professional development and continuing education for production and post-production staff.

  • Represent the firm at industry events related to production, post 

  • Represent the firm at charitable or academic institutions once a year as directed by senior management

  • Create and maintain a productive work environment that promotes from within and rewards excellence

Experience Required

​

  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of production and post leadership in a leading advertising agency

  • Complete understanding of very high-end production and post to include VFX, Color, Audio, Editing, Robotics and extensive global location shooting.

  • Experience with LAN/WAN/SAN and Real Time Systems where clients and editors can work together in domestic and international markets,

  • Strong experience with major brands through the creative process and key decision-makers.

  • A proven record of leading talented producers, directors, editors, VFX, color in-house and external vendors.

  • Extensive experience traveling, meeting and directing in-house and vendor staff through the production and post process at times in varied geographic for major accounts.

  •  A history of leadership that maintained a creative culture with low turnover and internal promotions.

  • Experience with CMO level clients at Fortune 50-500.

  • Strong Automotive experience is highly desired.

  • Past experience managing vendors and approving and managing 7 and 8 figure client and company budgets for hard assets and human resources.

  • Must be able to travel extensively as required between New York and Los Angeles and at times with major clients to be present on location with large budget productions.

  • Outstanding verbal and writing skills and a strong command of the English language

  • The ability to work with all levels of staff in a positive and professional manner that reflects the firm's commitment to a positive and productive creative culture.
